Training with Satori Ryu

(Last updated Wednesday, December 21, 2011)

The Japan Karate Association (JKA) was established in May 1949, with Gichin Funakoshi as the formal Head of the organisation and Masatoshi Nakayama as Chief Instructor. In 1956 Nakayama assisted by Teruyuki Okazaki re-structured the shotokan training programme, to follow both traditional methods and modern sports science. Satori Ryu take reference from JKA training methods and direction - IT AINT BUST, WE DON'T PRESUME WE SHOULD FIX IT.
Intellegent karate for adults.

Satori Ryu is affiliated to the Japan Karate-Do International (JKI), headed by Chief Instructor Yasuyoshi Saito 8th Dan. Paul is a founder member and Technical Director of JKI England.
